Parkland Chief of Police Committed to Serve and Protect

Marvin Stoner, a veteran Broward Sheriff Office commander, is the newly appointed police chief in Parkland. At 62, Stoner is still committed to protect citizens. In an e-mail statement, he said , “I am looking forward to getting to know the people of Parkland and working with the city leaders and personnel in BSO’s Parkland district office.” The swearing-in ceremony was held last May 18 in Parkland City Hall.
