Salable Home is still Possible in Today’s Market

The home next door is in foreclosure. The neighbors down the street just put their house up for sale at a ridiculous discount. And the “For Sale” signs litter lawns all over town. My friend, this year is the toughest year for selling conditions.  Looking at the bright side, when you get to sell your home in today’s market, you get to seek your own bargain if you’re going to buy after you’re done. On the other hand, it’s the selling part that’s a little bit too hard. It tends to be teeth-grindingly slow if you don’t do everything right — and maybe even if you do. But a house that’s in a good location, fully updated and seems perfectly priced might sit on the market without a nibble.
