Vibrant red, blue and yellow acrylic paint layers a 48-inch-long, 40-inch-wide canvas. Geometrical shapes with tiny photographs of two women peek out in between the vibrant colors. Layers of thread give the artwork a three-dimensional feel. It is Anica Shpilberg’s Diametrically Opposed painting, one of 11 artworks by Shpilberg that will hang on the white walls at the Maor Gallery in Wynwood. Local artists in Sunny Isles Beach works are on display at the said gallery. Anica Shpilberg is a 58-year-old artistic woman living in Sunny Isles Beach.
